About the Author
Joanne Arford, a graduate of Western Michigan University, is currently an adjunct faculty member at the College of DuPage in Illinois. She has written several editions of the Advanced Word Desktop Publishing textbook. Audrey Roggenkamp has been teaching courses in the Business Information Technology department at Pierce College in Puyallup, including keyboarding, skill building, and Microsoft Office programs. In addition to this textbook, Ms. Roggenkamp has authored and co-authored many computer application textbooks for Paradigm Publishing including Marquee Series 2013, 2010, 2007, and 2003, Signature Series 2013, 2010, 2007, and 2003, Using Computers in the Medical Office: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2010, 2007 and 2003, and Computer and Internet Essentials: Preparing for IC3. Ian Rutkosky teaches Business Technology courses at Pierce College in Puyallup. In addition to this textbook, he has co-authored many Computer and Internet Essentials: Preparing for IC3, Marquee Series: Microsoft Office 2013, and Using Computers in the Medical Office: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2010. He is also a co-author and consultant for Paradigm's SNAP training and assessment software.

Good content; poor cover/binding for a textbook!

I wish it had the coil-type binding instead of the paperback cover. The book is heavy & book would not stay open to pages being studied. Book cover is now heavily creased.
Content is pretty good. The Key Points Review at the end of every chapter is somewhat beneficial if you REALLY have to know the "names" of terms. I just wish the term definitions were better matched to those in the review. Did not use the CD in class so I cannot say whether or not the material is relevant.

Good content but very heavy book!

Would have preferred the coil binding of past editions; coil binding allows book to lay flat. VERY heavy book due to type of paper used. Could have had similar results with lighter paper.
